Chile Conference on Travel Survey Methods

Tony Richardson and David Richardson both attended the 9th International Conference on Transport Survey Methods held in Termas de Puyehue, Chile in November 2011. They were co-authors of a workshop paper describing software solutions developed and used in the VISTA travel surveys in Victoria. Tony also chaired a workshop on "Validating Shifts in the Total Design of Travel Surveys". Finally, both attended planning meetings for the 10th conference in the ISCTSC series, due to be held in Australia in 2014.

TRACTS12

TUTI have been successful in winning the tender for the conduct of the Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Cairns Travel Surveys in 2012 (TRACTS12) for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. This follows on from previous surveys conducted in Townsville, Bundaberg, Gladstone and Mackay in 2010 and 2011.
