South-East Queensland Travel Survey 2003-04 (SEQTS03)
The Cathedral Range from the TUTI office at Taggerty
Project Description

The Urban Transport Institute, in conjunction with I-view Pty Ltd and Data Analysis Australia (DAA), were appointed by Queensland Transport and Main Roads to design and conduct the South-East Queensland Travel Survey 2003-04.

The SEQTS03 survey was conducted in late-2003 and early-2004 in Brisbane, and on the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast in the second half of 2004. The survey uses a self-completion questionnaire, which is hand-delivered and hand-collected from households across the survey areas. The survey design shares many features with the Perth and Regions Travel Survey (PARTS) also being conducted in Western Australia by DAA and TUTI.

The Brisbane survey achieved a response rate of 60%, while the Coastal surveys achieved a response rate of 58%.
